Here’s a sneak preview of the new entry for GEOCACHE to appear in OSPD5:
GEOCACHE v -CACHED, -CACHING, -CACHES to search for hidden items by using a Global Positioning System device as part of a game.
Hasbro announced on Good Morning America that GEOCACHE defeated ZEN to win the showdown. GEOCACHE will be acceptable at the 2014 National School SCRABBLE Championship and the 2014 National SCRABBLE Championship.
Hasbro has announced the first ever SCRABBLE Word Showdown; this resulted in a few media hits for NASPA.
The NASPA Advisory Board approved a new version of the Code of Conduct. While the new CoC took effect on January 2, 2014, it was just posted to the NASPA wiki, so will only apply for any disciplinary matters arising after February 27, 2014.
Beginning this month, the Word of the Day and all rated tournaments will be automatically tweeted from the NASPA Twitter account, @NASPA.
Online registration is now available for the 2014 National SCRABBLE Championship.
