Merchandise Prize Notes

Noncash prizes do not including shipping/handling fees. Prizewinners who do not claim their prizes at the prize ceremony (in person or by proxy) have 90 days within which to arrange delivery.

Class Prize Notes

• Eligibility for Class Prizes is as follows:
  • Initial rating in the second tertile (third) of the division eligible for Class B Prizes in NWL divisions, or in the lower half in CSW divisions.
  • Initial rating in the third tertile of the division eligible for Class C Prizes in NWL divisions.

For the purpose of determining initial ratings for class prize eligibility, players with international ratings or alternate-lexicon NASPA ratings but no NASPA ratings in their competition lexicon will be assigned to classes at the director's discretion, based on their most recently available rating.

Multiple Winners

Winning multiple prizes may in some cases not be permitted. For example, a class prizewinner may not also win a place prize. For further information, please contact the Championship Committee.
