SCRABBLE - referring to a group of word games - is a trademark of Hasbro, Inc. in the USA and Canada, and of Mattel, Inc. elsewhere. In the best known version, players take turns playing letter tiles on a grid to make words crossword-style and compete for the highest score. This web site is devoted to the most competitive form of the Scrabble game, as practiced at sanctioned clubs and tournaments in North America.
