Zarf Timer Approved

The NASPA Technology Committee has approved the use of the Zarf timer in NASPA club and tournament play effective immediately, provided that:

  • If used on a device that can also function as a phone, the device is placed in airplane mode.
  • The Zarf timer is less preferred than other digital timers (but more preferred than analog or sand timers).
  • The Zarf application is not used for any purpose other than as a timer.
