The next edition of the Official Tournament and Club Word List (tentatively named OTCWL3, also known as OWL3 or TWL3) will be released on August 11, 2014 at the 2014 National SCRABBLE Championship and will be in effect in officially sanctioned activities which begin on or after December 1, 2014.

The lexicon will include GEOCACHE and its inflections, as a result of the 2014 SCRABBLE Word Showdown.

No words will be deleted from the previous lexicon. The number of words added will be in the thousands.
