This page will outline the criteria that will be used to select the players who will represent the United States at the 2013 World SCRABBLE Championship (WSC). Full details are expected to be in place by the start of the 2011 World SCRABBLE Championship.

Qualification period (QP)

The qualification period begins on September 22, 2011 and will end on May 31, 2013.

Qualification criteria

Peak ratings in the NASPA TWL and NASPA SOWPODS rating systems will continue to be used for qualification. Spots may also be decided through a qualification tournament, or awarded to top finishers from the 2011 WSC.
